WINNERS OF CORPORATE CONTENT AWARDS NORTH AMERICA 2020 ANNOUNCED

The Corporate Content Awards has been celebrating the best in corporate narrative and storytelling for the past three years in Europe. For the first time, it is recognising excellent in creative and strategic content across North America. It celebrates the strategic thought behind the work; the problem solving, the insight, the communications solutions.

With a gold in ‘Best content campaign to assist with corporate positioning,’ ‘Best use of digital,’ and ‘Best interactive content,’ Spectacular Northwest Territories brought home the night’s most sought-after prize, the Grand Prix, for its stunning use of content to achieve a repositioning of Canada’s Northwest Territories. Working with Brand Momentum Inc and Outcrop Communications, the campaign used VR experiences, digital content and influencer engagement to achieve high levels of brand awareness and to react to the changes in the tourism industry caused by the pandemic.

“All this year’s entries highlighted how companies are using corporate narrative and storytelling to develop an authentic voice with stakeholders. And that ability to communicate creatively and impactfully through content will be as important as ever in the months and years to come. This year’s winners should feel immensely proud of the work they’ve crafted and implemented, whether that was before or after the onset of Covid-19,” says Brittany Golob, editor in chief of Communicate Magazine.

Judges were impressed by Molson Coors Beverage Company, which swept up a gold in ‘Best content targeted to the CSR community,’ and won ‘Best corporate storyteller’ for its redefined sustainability reporting process. The brewing industry worked with Flag Communication to showcase the company’s 2025 sustainability strategy in a unique and compelling way, through a magazine-style piece of content, with print, digital and employee engagement elements. Kasowitz and Living also received two gold awards one in ‘Best use of a visual property,’ and the other in ‘Best branded content site.’
