EVCOM LONDON LIVE AND FILM AWARDS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The Events & Visual Communications Association’s Live and Film awards, which celebrate the best in corporate film and corporate events, announced its winners in a virtual ceremony.

Across categories from ‘Brand Communication’ to ‘Editing’, ‘Best Conference’ to ‘Best Documentary’ Evcom’s executive director Claire Fennelow and the host Samme Allen announced the shortlist and then winners, as excerpts from their films were played.

Magpie by Hamza Pool took home the ‘Focus award,’ which entails a nine-month mentorship programme from three top corporate film companies: Gorilla Gorilla!, Plastic Pictures and the Edge Picture Company. The agency of the year award was given to Smyle.

The ceremony also showcased examples of campaigns, films and projects that have been working hard to gain support and recognition for the industry during Covid-19, like #MakeItBlue campaign and the One Industry One Voice campaign. Evcom also shared its own NHS fundraising film ‘These are the hands.’

The awards were sponsored by DRPG, Cvent and IMEX.
