WEBINAR: BUILDING CORPORATE REPUTATION THROUGH THE EMPLOYER BRAND

Trying to build a reputation without a strong strategy can be like building a sandcastle. Complete the structure, and then the tide – or a crisis – comes along and wipes the whole thing out. But, with the proper approach, internally and externally, a corporate reputation can become as sturdy as a house.

A strong employer brand, that reflects corporate culture, embodies the organisation’s purpose and has a clear identity is the foundation for a successful corporate reputation. On 21 November, Communicate magazine is hosting a webinar, in association with Glassdoor, to discuss the impact employer brand has on corporate reputation.

The webinar will address the challenges facing those working in employer brand and communications when trying to support and develop a company’s reputation. It will also talk through the ways in which internal and external branding must align to successfully position the employer, and therefore the company itself. Speakers will also examine graduate recruitment, career development and innovation in the development of the employer brand.

"In today’s candidate-driven market, a positive, well-defined employer brand is essential to attracting and retaining top talent. According to Glassdoor research, 69% of active job seekers are likely to apply to a job if the employer actively manages its employer brand,” says Glassdoor. "A positive employer brand means your company is a better place to work for your target audience.”

Joining the discussion will be Tim Small, VP of employer brand and colleague engagement from IHG, Helen Rosethorn, partner at Prophet and Andrew Soane, associate director for recruitment marketing from Accenture. In addition, Glassdoor's David Whitby will provide unique insight and analysis.

The free webinar will run for an hour from 11:30am on 21 November. To register for the event click here. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers after their discussion.
