AXA LAUNCHES CLIMATE COMMS INITIATIVE

The initiative looks to bolster brands' climate change strategies through storytelling.

Global healthcare insurance company AXA has launched a new communications studio as part of its climate transition entity AXA Climate, designed to support companies' communications during their ecological transitions.

The initiative looks to support clients in boosting their climate-related messaging, such as by incorporating brand strategy, campaign design and communications services targeting both internal and external audiences.

As well as supporting messaging, the initiative aims to clarify climate challenges and raise awareness for the need for businesses to take action on sustainability.

Claire Bayet will be leading the project, having worked at major communications agencies, including BETC and Publicis Conseil. She emphasises the power of storytelling in climate communications. "Communication around ecological issues is often too cautious, complex or simply misleading. Without creative and credible communication the transition won't happen."

The studio is the latest addition to AXA Climate's services, which includes consulting, SaaS tools, insurance and training.
