PUMA LAUNCHES PODCAST IN SUSTAINABILITY PUSH
The ‘Green Flags’ podcast aims to raise awareness of the brand's sustainability efforts among Gen Z audiences.
Sports company PUMA has launched ‘Green Flags’, a five-part podcast series designed to engage a Gen Z audience in the brand’s efforts to become more sustainable.
Each weekly episode explores a different sustainability challenge, such as using sustainable materials and the transition to renewable energy. The launch is part of PUMA's broader 'FOREVER.BETTER' campaign, promoting the brand's ESG commitments.
Green Flags is hosted by Manchester United captain Maya Le Tissier, alongside content creators Oli Bromfield and Moses Duckrell. Anne-Laure Descours, chief sourcing officer at PUMA, hopes the podcast will help generate awareness among consumers. "The climate crisis can seem overwhelming. However, all of us have the power to make better decisions for the future of our planet, no matter how small."
PUMA worked with MSL Group and MAGS Creative to produce the podcast. MSL creative director, Michael Crosbie, describes how the initiative is designed to feel fun and digestible. "There’s no shame in not knowing what you don’t know — sustainability can feel complicated, technical and even overwhelming at times. Green Flags is here to bridge that gap.
"Through sustainability challenges and the dynamic energy of our hosts, we’re breaking down complex topics and making them relevant, especially for a Gen Z audience, who are leading the charge for change."
