DATACOMMS AWARDS 2023 WINNERS REVEALED
The winners of Communicate’s DataComms Awards have been revealed tonight at the boutique Grubstreet Author in London's Barbican. The awards celebrate the integration of data in corporate communications.
Now only in their second year, the DataComms Awards strive to recognise and reward the wide-ranging application of data to inform corporate reputation, brand definition, social media and PR strategy. This year, entries have demonstrated innovation and creativity, and a dedication to utilising data to drive new campaigns and enhance existing systems.
Among the evening’s gold winners was a partnership between BBC, Sky, News UK and PA Media, which saw the curation of a new platform that assists in data analysis for news outlets. A partnership between Airbus and Caliber also snapped up gold awards for the roll-out of a new ‘Real-Time Tracker’, which assists in gathering data through market research.
"Data analytics is not just about reaching people; it's about connecting with them on a personal level, forging meaningful relationships and crafting narratives that really leave a lasting impact," says Andrew Thomas, founder of the DataComms Awards and publisher of Communicate magazine. "The DataComms Awards programme was established to reward excellence in the collation, measurement and analysis, and communication of data.
"Tonight's winners have truly embodied all of these aspects."
PA Media’s commitment to becoming the world-leading news agency in data understanding saw the agency, alongside partners BBC, Sky and News UK, also go home with the prestigious Grand Prix award.
The winners were announced at a celebratory awards dinner in Central London.
