LENS AWARDS 2022 WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Lens Awards 2022 celebrated creativity and innovation in corporate film, storytelling, and visual communications. This year’s entries set the benchmark for excellence and demonstrated the increasingly vital role video plays in corporate communications.
In its second year, the Lens Awards brought agencies and organisations together to celebrate corporate film and video. From targeting internal investors, recruitment and ESG audiences, the Lens Awards recognised innovation across a range of categories and targets.
“This year we have seen an increase in entries – but it is the quality of work we really celebrate. Across all categories it was as if a pent-up creativity, held hostage from the first year of lockdown, had been freely released. The work truly was spectacular and again bodes well for the role of corporate video in corporate communications,” says Andrew Thomas, founder of the awards and publisher of Communicate magazine.
The award for ‘Corporate video of the year’ was went to Standard Chartered and Instinctif Partners for its annual end-of-year film which brought the bank’s activities to life using animated models and props with integrated leadership messaging.
Big Button took home gold in every category in which they competed, making them a worthy winner of the prestigious the Grand Prix award. Whether it was introducing the metaverse to an investment audience, sharing stories of LGBT+ employees in the financial services industry or bringing property to life, judges were continually impressed with the strategic video agency’s work.
The winning work was recognised tonight, 20 April, at a celebratory dinner and awards ceremony in Central London.
The inclusion of a Retro Photo Booth, courtesy of Showtime Photo Booth, was a welcome addition to the special awards evening amongst attendees. All the photos from the evening, both from our photographer and the photobooth can be found on our facebook page.
