VIDEO PODCAST HELPS COMMUNICATORS FOSTER AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS IN A VIRTUAL WORLD

The ‘Better Connected’ video podcast series from Bose Professional, the division of Bose Corporation dedicated to pro audio ingenuity, seeks to address current communications challenges. The series will cover everything from storytelling techniques, to employing communication skills in challenging environments, and staying motivated without an in-person team.

With the shift to hybrid working, professional communicators are adapting to establish better connections with dispersed teams and understand the role of technology in achieving this. This series aims to celebrate what is possible through the power of remote collaboration.

The video podcast will be available to watch or listen online and is hosted by category marketing manager at Bose Professional, Justin O’Connor, alongside various guests. “Better Connected features insights and stories from experts in their respective fields, who have adapted their skillsets for an increasingly virtual world,” says O’Connor.

The guest line-up for the initial three episodes includes Olympic gold medalist and world champion athlete, Michael Johnson, and former NASA astronaut and US Navy Captain, Scott Kelly. Discussing a topic related to their individual experience, each guest will share practical tips on how to foster authentic interactions while collaborating remotely.

“While audiovisual technologies are increasingly common in our workplaces, we can all be inspired and learn from the experiences shared by our guests. In doing so, we can find the right balance between human and technology as our communication methods continue to evolve,” adds O’Connor.
