LENS AWARDS 2021 WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The winning entries successfully targeted specific audiences with powerful, innovative and emotive storytelling. Ranging from internal interviews and documentary style films to augmented reality and animation, the awards truly commend every angle of video communications.
From Education and Healthcare to Technology, Property and Financial Services, the Lens Awards truly recognise the most powerful visual strategies in every sector. There are four tiers of awards; gold, silver, bronze and highly commended, with the final and highest accolade being awarded for ‘Corporate video of the year’ and ‘Video production company of the year.’
British property and investment and development company, SEGRO, was a stand out winner with six awards, including four gold and the competitive ‘Corporate video of the year’ award. Dutch dredging and marine experts, Royal Boskalis Westminster, and digital creative agency, MunzMedia, also excelled winning three gold and one silver award.
DRPG achieved the most awards for an agency, with five wins including the sought after ‘Video production company of the year’ award. LNER won across the widest range of categories with several different campaign entries, securing 13 awards including gold for ‘Best use of video for social media’ and ‘Best long-term video strategy.’
Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Communicate magazine and founder of the Lens Awards, says, “The number of entries far exceeded our expectations. But it wasn’t just the number; the calibre of entry also took our breath away. Our judges truly found themselves with a near-herculean task in differentiating between good, great and greatest. That they have had to compare and contrast among such a strong field of contenders bodes well for the Lens Awards in future years. But for now, we must watch the winning work and congratulate all those behind its production.”
