NEW AWARDS FOR PRS IN THE CITY

The PRCA has launched a new awards programme, the City and Financial PR Awards 2016.

The PRCA and the Company of PR Practitioners (formerly the PR Guild) have jointly launched the awards, which are aimed specifically at the City and the financial PR industry.

The awards contain 12 categories including ‘Best M&A or communications in support of a transaction’, ‘Best IPO campaign’ and ‘Best change management campaign’. The awards intend to recognise the talent and impact of those working in financial PR, whether teams, consultancies or individuals.

The winners will be chosen by judges including, Stephen Doherty, global head of corporate communications at Barclays, Richard Fletcher, business editor at The Times and Joel Hills, business editor at ITV News.

Francis Ingham, PRCA director general and master of the company of PR practitioners says, “I am very pleased to announce the launch of the City and Financial PR Awards 2016.”

The awards winners will be announced at an event on Thursday 25 February, 2016 at the Merchant Taylors Hall in the City of London. Entries will be accepted until 8 January.
