CONFERENCE TO DEBATE THE FUTURE OF INTERNAL COMMS

There's not only cricket to be seen at the Kia Oval in London. The CIPR’s annual Internal Communication conference is slated for 25 September at the landmark venue. The programme will focus on the future of internal communications and was overseen by CIPR Inside.

A host of workshops, panel discussions and speakers highlight the day’s agenda. Speakers include internal communications directors from M&S, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Telefonica UK and other large companies, charities and agencies.

Rachel Miller, director of All Things IC, will be speaking at the event. She says, “I'm looking forward to this year's CIPR Inside conference, it's a chance for internal communication professionals to network, share ideas and learn from each other. I will be chairing the creating sociable internal communications part of the day, extracting knowledge from our speakers and feeding in questions from participants so we can all interact and maximise the opportunity to learn from each other.”

James Harkness, CIPR Inside chair, says the conference programme was developed based on feedback from last year’s event and that the future of the industry will yield interesting and useful debate.

CIPR Inside held its first awards event in February and looks to build on its success during the 2014 programme.
