CORPORATE AND FINANCIAL AWARDS OPEN FOR ENTRIES
Engaging with a corporate audience has grown increasingly more complex and increasingly more important to the corporate and financial services industries. To honour the work of corporate communicators, the second-annual Corporate and Financial Awards recognise excellence in City communications.
The Corporate and Financial Awards is now open for entries for its 2013 programme. The awards provide an opportunity for staff, companies, agencies and beneficiaries alike, to see their efforts recognised and to celebrate excellence in all aspects of City communication.
"Corporate communications has changed over the past five years," founder of Communicate, Andrew Thomas, says. "No longer does the IR department speak only to investors and analysts, the corporate PR department engage only with financial journalists and the communications team talk only to stakeholders. Communications has undergone a transformation. Last year's CFA was the first and still the only event that recognises the convergence of the communications process and the importance of talking to the city and those who influence it with the same voice."
Winners will be the benchmark for City communications and will join a roster of award recipients including BP, Maersk, Centrica and Tesco. Entries are accepted for work between June 2011 and January 2013. Early entrants will receive a £100 discount and must be received by 14 February. The late deadline is 28 February.
