NEW JOURNEY FOR COCA-COLA'S ONLINE USERS

Coca-Cola recently replaced its corporate website to surprise its audience and invite them to go on a fun ride: a new website called Coca-Cola Journey created in collaboration with Perfect Sense Digital and Wonderfactory. The soft-drink giant described the site as “[a] dynamic, digital magazine” as well as “the most ambitious digital project” since 1995, promising to create an innovative experience for users.

Committing to (re)create an exciting journey, the 126-year-old company wanted users of the new website to be aware of and inspired by everyday global issues, social problems and innovative ideas, on top of being informed about the company news and investor information. The importance of the campaign, as Ashley Brown, director of digital communications and social media at Coca-Cola, is to let Coca-Cola Journey be part of the consumer’s – a platform for people to be curious about other’s stories as well as telling their own. He adds, “We want to make sure that as our brand becomes a publisher, we do so in the most beautiful and functional way possible.” Coca-Cola’s new website makes it user-friendly for visitors to share their opinions on social media that every story has direct connections to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Brown says, “We hope Coca-Cola Journey will be a place where people will share their curiosity about the world, engage in stimulating debate, and find out what is at the core of Coke– our quality brands, our business, our people, and our ever-expanding commitment to social good.”
