GOLD SABRE AWARDS ANNOUNCED BY HOLMES REPORT

The Holmes Report announced the winners for its second annual Global SABRE awards to be presented in Miami, Fla. on 30 October during the Global Public Relations Summit.

Weber Shandwick, a UK-based PR agency that focuses on strategic engagement, won the Global Agency of the Year award. The Technology Agency of the Year award went to Waggener Edstrom, a full service media agency. Edelman rounded out the British trifecta by taking home the Digital Agency of the Year award for its pioneering digital and social media services.

“To be named Global Agency of the Year by The Holmes Report is an incredible honor, one that speaks volumes about our talented professionals and our clients who give us the opportunity to make a difference every day,” Harris Diamond, CEO of Weber Shandwick says.

International healthcare agency Chandler Chicco got the nod for Healthcare Agency of the Year. Other winners included Belgian, German and North American agencies.

Waggener Edstrom was praised by The Holmes Report for being an innovative and cutting edge agency. Edelman won the Global Agency of the Year award in 2011.
