CIPR EXCELLENCE AWARDS ANNOUNCED
The CIPR Excellence Awards took place last night at a packed out Hilton on Park Lane in London, as 850 PROs and their agencies celebrated with the winners at the Chartered Institute's annual celebration of excellence in public relations in 2012.
In the Olympic year, the ceremony was MC’d by Olympian Colin Jackson CBE, and the CIPR President’s medal was awarded to Lord Sebastian COE KBE.
Winners on the night included Salt PR with two trophies, Iris PR & The FA, and the Lothian and Borders Police who won a special award for best measurement. Unity took home the night’s ultimate prize, for Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy, whilst the Royal College of Nursing scooped Outstanding In-House Public Relations Team. Individual awards for Outstanding Young Communicator went to Lisa Gutcher from Liquid PR and Public Relations Director of the Year went to Emma Leach of the University of Nottingham.
