BORIS' COMMS DIRECTOR RUMOURED TO MOVE TO NI
Boris Johnson’s communications director, Guto Harri, is rumoured to adopt a communications position at News International.
Harri was appointed back in May 2008 to be Johnson’s communications director and was previously approached by David Cameron to adopt the position of media chief.
The former BBC chief correspondent was on the verge of working for Cameron, then opposition leader, however it was subsequently reported that Rebekah Brooks intervened in his decision, recommending ex-News of the World editor Andy Coulson instead.
The well respected Harri is also, according to a news report in today’s London Evening Standard, considering options of communications opportunities at Number 10.
