PR agencies Lansons Communications and Launch Group were celebrating last night after winning big at the PRCA Awards 2010.

Launch Group was the Consultancy Winner for Campaign of the Year Award, for their work on the Walt Disney World Twinned Town. This project also garnered them a Highly Commended nod in the Consumer Award category, and a win in the New Media, Digital and Broadcast Award category. Lansons Communications, awarded Consultancy Winner in the Financial Award section for their work launching J.P. Morgan Brazil, were also named Large Consultancy of the Year.

In the award for Personality of the Year, which was decided by a vote open to those working in the communications industry on the PRCA’s website, David Gallagher, CEO of Ketchum Pleon, walked away with the honours. David was recognised for his rejuvenation of the PRCA and commitment to global CSR in the PR industry.

The PRCA awards celebrate the best of the UK’s PR industry and recognise outstanding work from both PR agencies and in-house communications teams in the financial, healthcare & pharmaceutical, new media, digital & broadcast, media relations, internal communications, public affairs, consumer, public sector, not-for-profit, B2B, CSR, technology, crisis management and international sectors. This year the dinner was held at London’s Park Lane Hilton.
