COMMUNICATE MAGAZINE LAUNCHES MJM - FOR MOVES, JOBS OR MANDATES

Communicate magazine, the monthly magazine for corporate communications and stakeholder relations, today (01/10/09) launches a new service for corporate communications and stakeholder relations professionals.

MJM will provide a free listing service for jobs, people moves and new mandates in the corporate communications field.

The service, still in beta stage, will enable visitors to post free recruitment ads as well as make announcements about new staff they might have hired. Additionally it will also provide a platform for agencies that provide corporate communications services and advice to announce new client wins. Each job listed will have its own page, with a 110 character headline and a maximum 200 word description. Communicate magazine will also take every job posted and tweet it, as well as distributing the details in a free daily email alert for those who sign up for it.

Andrew Thomas, publisher of Communicate magazine, said "We’re always being sent press releases telling us, for example, that someone has just started at company x, or agency y has been brought in to defend company z against a hostile takeover. There are too many of these stories to run in our news section, so it seemed logical to launch a section on our website just for this kind of news. It then seemed a natural next step to include job listings in the same area. It’ll be basic, but as we're the highest circulating magazine in the corporate communications space it certainly should work for our readers.

MJM is now live, and can be found at http://www.communicatemagazine.co.uk.
