Sarah Waddington CBE has been appointed interim CEO of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), effective immediately until June 2025.

Sarah Waddington CBE, a former Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) president and Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) board member since September 2023, has been providing interim leadership to the PRCA since November 2024, following the resignation of James Hewes. As CEO, she will focus on advancing the PRCA’s strategy and enhancing value for members.

Commenting on her new role, Waddington says the PRCA is undergoing a period of modernisation, citing the launch of a new website to improve member experience. She aims to connect with the industry both in the UK and internationally, advocating for member needs and driving initiatives set to roll out in 2025.
