MEASUREMENT PROS LAUNCH COMMSCLARITY CONSULTING

Richard Bagnall and Paul Hender have launched the new consultancy to offer improved measurement and insights across the industry.

After long careers in the evaluation and insights industry, Richard Bagnall and Paul Hender have launched CommsClarity Consulting with the hope of dispelling the "fear” of evaluation.

The new consultancy’s offerings include data collection and management reporting, tailored evaluation frameworks, social media measurement and AI guidance. Bagnall and Hender have worked together for 30 years on measurement initiatives, including AMEC's integrated measurement framework.

Bagnall says new metrics will bring more value to communications professionals. “They need integrated metrics that allow them to stand shoulder to shoulder with their peers from marketing and advertising,” he says. “They must move on from a focus on the ‘counts and amounts’ of increasingly meaningless content metrics and look to demonstrate real organisational value."

As communications professionals face complex new challenges, Bagnall believes the timing is appropriate. “PR professionals need experience and expertise, just when the media intelligence market is doubling down on its focus on portals, platforms, AI and tools.

“PR agencies are under enormous pressure to justify budgets and demonstrate the value that they offer in a credible manner," he continues. "It’s time for them to stop fearing evaluation.”

Hender says CommsClarity Consulting will help the industry stay ahead of new trends and challenges. “Our mission is to provide clarity and confidence through our services, empowering clients to not only meet but exceed their communications objectives and face the future with confidence.”
