The housing association has launched a new CSR initiative to give back to its communities.

Building on a previous similar initiative from December 2022 which was a single day event, Futures sent volunteers from teams across all divisions to take part in its week- long project. Employees who would be sat in the office instead spent five days cleaning furniture and gardening.

A chief donator to the project was Travis Perkins in Ripley. Its national social housing account manager, Kate Curley, said that the week brought “so much more than just a physical change to the area” and that the “green space” created for locals will highlight the company’s sustainability-centred ethos.
