
SIGNAL AI APPOINTS CLANCY CHILDS AS CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
Signal AI, one of the companies transforming how business leaders make decisions, has announced the appointment of Clancy Childs as chief product officer. Childs will help lead the development of Signal AI’s product suite vision as the company expands into new markets and applies its pioneering technology to further customer use-cases as part of its mission to transform business decision making through trainable AI.
Childs brings a wealth of leading data and product experience to Signal AI from his senior roles at both Dow Jones and Google. He led Dow Jones’s professional information product suite as the chief data officer, chief product and technology officer and, most recently, as general manager of an innovation business unit, created to further push the applications of natural language processing and knowledge graph technology within the company.

Prior to Dow Jones, Childs worked at Google on a variety of products including AdSense, Maps, Gmail and Checkout, but spent the majority of his time there as the London-based product manager for Google Analytics Premium (now known as Google Analytics 360).
Childs has degrees in computer dcience and economics from the University of Michigan, and an MBA with distinction from London Business School. He has also advised various startups on product management and data strategy.
