ONE GREEN BEAN EXPANDS INTERNATIONALLY WITH NEW OFFICE IN AMSTERDAM

one green bean has opened a new office in Amsterdam, adding another specialist regional hub to its network, to provide earned-media services to global brands across Europe.

ogb Amsterdam joins ogb Sydney, which was established in 2007 and now has a team of 60, and ogb London, which launched in 2015 and is 50 people strong.

ogb Amsterdam will strengthen one green bean’s ability to service its numerous global and pan-European clients, including Hotels.com, Vodafone Smart Tech, Nestlé and Cereal Partners Worldwide. It will also ensure deeper on-the-ground strategic and client service support for Strongbow’s global digital and social remit, which has been handled by the London agency since 2016.

The team at ogb Amsterdam will be led by business director, Sophie Nicholson, who has held senior roles in both ogb Sydney and ogb London since 2016. Nicholson offers significant integrated expertise across a number of sectors including travel and tourism, consumer tech, FMCG and food and beverage.

ogb London’s managing director, James Thomlinson, will broaden his UK remit to include the management of one green bean Amsterdam.

Kat Thomas, one green bean’s founder and global ECD says, “Further international expansion has been a continued ambition and we’re thrilled to add Europe to our big little network. Our Amsterdam office will ensure we remain plugged firmly into Europe in the post-Brexit landscape, offering a global perspective coupled with a deep understanding of local nuances and news agendas. Amsterdam is a standout creative and cultural hub, it was a natural next step for us and an exciting one for our clients and team”

Despite the challenges of Covid-19, ogb London had its biggest year ever in 2020 and delivered a fourth year of double-digit growth. With expanding remits across social, content, partnerships and its proprietary influencer offer, Co-maker.One
