
VMA GROUP MAKES SENIOR LEADERSHIP CHANGES
International recruitment and executive search specialist, VMA Group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Harvey as group CEO and welcomes account director Lisa MacMillan back to the UK from Hong Kong.
Harvey will take over the role previously held by Julia Meighan, who moves into the position of chair of VMA Group.
Harvey joined VMA Group in 2013 and for the last two years has been UK executive director, responsible for the growth and development of all aspects of the UK business. In his new role as CEO, he will focus on driving growth from the company’s recruitment and executive search services across the entire international business, including offices in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and in the UK.
Harvey says, “This is an exciting new challenge in my career and I am looking forward to working with the senior management team to ensure that our long-established VMAGROUP brand continues to respond effectively to the challenges and trends in recruitment and executive search that the communications, digital and marketing sectors face today.”
With a communications background in industry and more than 14 years recruitment and search experience in communications and marketing, MacMillan now joins the company’s London team focusing on senior level search assignments in the financial services, professional services and investor relations sectors. As part of the company’s executive search team she will be supporting international organisation’s to structure and build their communications functions, sourcing the best talent from around the world.
MacMillan joined VMA Group in 2014 and was responsible for conducting senior level searches across Asia, in particular in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Australia. With an international network of senior communications and marketing professionals and long-standing client relationships, MacMillan will continue to provide executive search services for senior roles in Hong Kong and throughout Asia.
