TECHNICAL PR FIRM INCREASES DIGITAL EXPERTISE WITH NEW TEAM MEMBER

Technical PR agency, Stone Junction, has expanded its team by recruiting Lorna Wilde as an account executive — the 18th addition to the company’s Stafford office. This new appointment will support Stone Junction’s growing client base and adds a wealth of digital marketing knowledge to the team.

Wilde has spent several years specialising in pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, devising successful and thought-provoking campaigns for B2B clients.

Aspiring to merge her love of writing content and passion for creating well-executed marketing campaigns, Wilde joined Stone Junction to expand the company’s current digital services. These services include but are not limited to, email marketing, search engine optimisation, social media management and marketing automation.

“Digital marketing is continually thriving and expanding,” says Wilde. “With search engines responsible for 93% of all website traffic, businesses cannot ignore the potential of organic and paid search opportunities. Merging search-based marketing, like PPC, with PR strategies gives companies the opportunity to engage with audiences at any point of the consumer journey, while maintaining a coherent brand message with a complementing PR campaign.”

Wilde’s experience in PPC will provide Stone Junction with increased capacity to deal with digital marketing enquiries, as well as the delivery of existing integrated campaigns. For instance, Stone Junction’s campaign with EU Automation, 'Creating a Global Digital Footprint,' which has recently been shortlisted for 'Integrated campaign of the year' award by the PRCA.

“Lorna’s background provides Stone Junction’s customers with a deep understanding of what drives consumers to buy online,” says Richard Stone, managing director at Stone Junction. “This will be beneficial to our clients that are already using or are considering using digital channels in their PR campaigns."
