NEW DIRECTOR APPOINTED AT DIGITAL AGENCY SILVERBEAN

Silverbean, the digital performance agency with offices in Newcastle and Teesside, has announced the appointment of its first digital performance associate director, Andy Robson.

Robson has been with the agency for over three years, leading the search engine optimisation team and has been instrumental in a number of major client wins.

“Digital performance associate director is a bit of a mouthful, but then again transitioning into this new role is no small feat either,” Robson says. “As director, I will be overseeing three of the agency’s core offerings – search engine optimisation, paid marketing and conversion rate optimisation. It will be my responsibility to ensure we are performing at our very best as an agency and continuing to provide world-class campaigns. I’m looking forward to seeing the exciting results we’ll be able to deliver for our clients as a result of this evolution.”

Andrew Charlton has been appointed as the new head of search at Silverbean, effective immediately. His promotion comes after over two years at the agency, during which Charlton has worked on numerous SEO campaigns and strategies and played a key role in the strategic direction of the division.

“2019 is going to be a big year for Silverbean,” says Charlton. “We have bold plans in place across the agency in terms of growth, recruitment and service delivery, and we’re already making big strides to achieve these. I’m looking forward to driving these on and cementing our reputation as a sales performance agency.”

The appointments come during an intensive growth period for Silverbean, which has seen the agency appoint nearly 40 new members of staff in the last eighteen months. Plans are also in place for the agency to go international, with an Australia office to be launched in Sydney over the coming months.
