NEW BOARD DIRECTOR JOINING LANSONS
Lansons is welcoming a new board director to join the consultancy beginning 23 April. Danny Calogero joins Lansons from Peregrine communications.
At Peregrine, Calogero was a board director overseeing UK clients and business development activity in the UK in addition to providing strategic direction, campaign development, reputation management and crisis communications to clients. Calogero has significant experience and expertise in the asset management sector.
Calogero's recruitment is a sign of Lansons' commitment to the asset management sector. He will further strengthen the consultancy's capabilities in that area while broadening its senior counsel to clients.
Before Peregrine, Calogero's previous roles include associate director at Headland where he focused on developing the firm’s asset management practice and securing new clients. He was behind comms initiatives including UBS’s annual Billionaire’s Report and eToro’s cryptocurrency campaign. He was lead advisor on Cardano’s acquisition of Lincoln Pensions and, separately, its interactions with the FCA and CMA following the asset management market study.
Before this, his time with Prosek Partners and Hill and Knowlton Strategies saw him leading on international accounts including AllianceBernstein, Janus Capital, Torus Insurance, Silicon Valley Bank and Stone Harbor Investment Partners and advising clients including GE Capital, HSBC, Hymans Robertson, Novartis and Hermes Fund Managers.
