MIDLANDS PR AGENCY BOOSTS TEAM WITH THREE NEW HIRES

Cartwright Communications has strengthened its creative team with the appointment of three new digital and PR specialists.

James Dixon, Fay Clarkson and Holly Hill have all joined the Midlands-based agency boosting its digital offering, marketing expertise, social media skills and PR services.

Head of digital Dixon has an extensive amount of digital experience in both B2B and B2C sectors. He has worked in social media management and content marketing roles for major brands BskyB and Unilever, as well as national and international NGOs.

Dixon says, “I have already been impressed by the quality and scope of digital work at Cartwright Communications and I see my role as growing this area of the business. My focus will be on developing the digital PR offering, social media services and content-led integrated communications strategies for both existing and new clients. For me, the attraction to Cartwright was the opportunity to work for an agency with its roots in journalism that fully embraces today’s everchanging media and influencer landscape.

Clarkson, who has been appointed by the agency as account manager, joins Cartwright from a specialist gardening PR agency. She says, “I am really excited to help Cartwright branch out in to the horticultural sector and to help open up a new client base for the company. Following my appointment, we have already gained two new gardening and horticulture clients and I look forward to using my expertise in this sector to welcome more clients.”

Account executive Hill has joined the Cartwright team having worked in both the public and private sectors, with experience in software technology and services industries as well as emergency services. Hill will be supporting with PR campaigns, social media and event management.
