MANCHESTER-BASED BRAND CONSULTANCY APPOINTS TWO TO FUEL ITS GROWTH

Manchester-based FMCG brand design and innovation consultancy Brandon, has appointed Louise Kennedy as strategy director and Nicola Basger as brand consultant.

Kennedy has spent 18 years working client-side in senior insight and strategic planning roles across brand, innovation, shopper and category with the past decade spent at Kellogg’s.

She says, “I am really excited to be joining Brandon at such an exciting time in the business’s development. The team have worked on refreshing some iconic British brands both through design and increasingly via NPD innovation. They have a strong reputation for getting up close and personal with consumers, using those insights in an intelligent way to lead to a key insight that’s embedded in the heart of the creative process.

That really appeals to me having always been the client. It’s the perfect fit where I can bring my client-side expertise into the consultancy and build on the strategic foundations in place to help continue to drive the business forward and most importantly deliver growth for the brands and businesses we work with.”

Basger, who has over 10 years of experience working within the advertising industry, adds, “Brandon has such a tight niche in helping established FMCG food and drinks businesses grow and I saw it as the perfect opportunity to make my mark.”

Basger and Kennedy's appointments further fuel the strategic intent across Brandon’s core brand strategy, innovation and design disciplines.

Richard Taylor, managing partner at Brandon, says, “Louise and Nicola join us at a really exciting time, we are fast approaching our seventh year and building deeper and more meaningful relationships with our key partners. We are growing at a rapid pace so both Louise’s strategic prowess and Nicola’s business development expertise further fuel our growth and ambitious plans for the future.”
