
WEBER SHANDWICK MAKES SENIOR APPOINTMENTS IN HEALTH AND CONSUMER MARKETING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Weber Shandwick, a global communications and engagement firm, has appointed Lucie Harper, Lisa Henry, Emma Thompson and Kate Sarginson to new leadership roles in recognition of continued success and to lead future growth in the firm’s United Kingdom operations.
Lucie Harper has been announced as chair of the UK Health practice. The appointment is testament to her leadership in delivering a diversified Health offering, producing transformative work for global and regional brands, while recruiting and retaining market-leading talent.
Instrumental in delivering impressive growth in London’s Health practice is Lisa Henry whose team has attracted some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical brands. She is promoted to managing director of the London Health practice after two years as Deputy Managing Director of the practice.
Emma Thompson is appointed chair of the UK Consumer Marketing practice with a remit to grow the firm’s consumer work across the UK and Ireland. This appointment is in recognition of Emma’s outstanding leadership of the London Consumer Marketing practice over the last five years, as well as well her additional success as Managing Director, London operations since 2016, during which she has expanded the analytics, strategic planning, creative, social and media production offering in London.
A key partner to the success in the practice is Deputy MD Kate Sarginson, who is promoted to managing irector of the London Consumer Marketing practice. In recent years, the practice has seen unprecedented growth, winning and maintaining iconic UK and global brands.
