International recruitment and executive search specialist for communications, digital and marketing, VMA Group, announces the promotion of Andy Macleod to a newly created position as associate director for the UK Interim Communications practice.

Andy Macleod has been leading VMA Group’s UK Interim Internal Communications practice for the past three and a half years and this promotion is seen as a natural step for Andy who will now lead on growing the company’s interim practice across both internal, external and change communications. 

Before joining VMA Group, Andy worked for almost 15 years as an internal communications professional in the financial services sector, and clients say they really value the in-depth knowledge and understanding of the communications profession this experience brings, he appreciates the challenges faced by clients and understands the roles he is recruiting for. In his new role, Andy joins the company’s senior leadership team with responsibility for driving the UK interim business growth strategy.

Andy joined VMA Group in 2014 as Consultant and has also held the roles of senior consultant, managing consultant, and head of UK Interim Internal Communications.
