NICK COOK APPOINTED ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF CURZON PR
Nick Cook has joined Curzon PR as associate director, in-house corporate consultant and storyteller with responsibility for crafting strategic narratives for Curzon’s clients.
An award-winning journalist, writer and technology consultant, Cook has three decades of experience in the field of narrative strategy, with a particular skill in turning data into seamless, readable story.
Cook’s journalistic career began as a reporter for the world renowned Jane’s Defence Weekly, where he became senior editor. In parallel, he pursued a career as an author of fiction and non-fiction books, including his best-selling The Hunt For Zero Point, published to acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Other books include a number of ghost-written Sunday Times bestsellers, including Sabre Squadron (1997) and Barefoot Soldier (2006).
In 2008, Cook set up Dynamixx, the world’s first energy, environment and defence sector consultancy. Dynamixx worked with the world’s leading aerospace and defence companies to transition their technologies into commercial ‘global challenge’ markets such as climate change, food and water security, smart cities, clean energy and the environment. In addition to working with Curzon, Cook is writing two thrillers for Transworld/Penguin Random House.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Curzon team,” Cook says, “and am looking forward to working with our clients in the co-creation of corporate narrative strategies that help them to make a difference in their many diverse and creative fields."
Curzon PR founder and CEO, Farzana Baduel adds, “Nick’s exceptional experience makes him a valuable addition to the consultancy. His journalistic and literary eye will help us shape powerful brand narratives for both external and internal communications campaigns.”
