HOTWIRE PROMOTES KATE HUNTER TO HEAD OF B2B
Hotwire, the global communications agency, has promoted Kate Hunter to head of business to business (B2B), UK. A member of the Hotwire UK board, Hunter will be responsible for overseeing and growing Hotwire’s portfolio of B2B clients both in the UK and across the globe.
Reporting to UK MD, Matt Cross, Hunter will continue to work with existing clients and prospects to deliver integrated communications programmes and grow the business internationally. With nearly 15 years of experience, 11 of which have been with Hotwire, her promotion reflects the vast experience running multinational and award-winning integrated campaigns.
Hunter’s overarching goal will be to help deliver on Hotwire’s vision to be ‘the best agency you’ll ever work with,’ delivering excellent client service and working closely with Hotwire’s digital brand labs and global teams. This will include growing Hotwire’s B2B offering including fintech, digital commerce and IT and services teams as well as working closely with portfolio leads to expand Hotwire’s emerging markets in the UK: energy, health tech and automotive.
Cross says, “We’re really pleased to be able to promote Kate into this role, her hard work, dedication and commitment to Hotwire over the past 11 years is greatly valued and she really deserved recognition of that. Kate is a huge support in the day-to-day running and growth of the UK business. I’m delighted to give her this opportunity and see what she achieves next in this exciting role.”
Hunter adds, “I am so excited about this next chapter. In particular, working more closely with our talented team across the globe to push the boundaries in the B2B space for existing and new clients across both established and emerging markets. We have a B2B team of 47 people in the London office, I’m looking forwards to growing the division in numbers and expertise in my new role, as we strive to develop more creative campaigns for our clients.”
