CAPITALRISE APPOINTS HEAD OF MARKETING TO ACCELERATE GROWTH
CapitalRise, the online property finance marketplace that connects prime residential real estate developers with investors, is pleased to announce two new senior appointments to its expanding team.
Lior Zaidner has been appointed as the new head of marketing to drive growth in customer acquisitions, while Nick Oakley joins as head of lending to lead the growth of the business’ innovative financing solutions.
Zaidner’s new role as head of marketing will see him assume responsibility for all aspects of CapitalRise’s marketing strategy with a clear emphasis on attracting new investors to its member base while at the same time alerting more prime real estate developers to the bespoke solutions that CapitalRise can provide to address their financing needs. Zaidner is an experienced marketeer with an impressive track record of delivering tangible results for a range of businesses operating in the fintech, technology and investment space. He joins from Cogress Ltd, the property-focused private equity platform, where he spent the past four years as marketing director and was key to building and growing its investor base to 6,000 registered investors during his tenure.
Oakley joins CapitalRise with over two decades experience in real estate financing, most recently at Castle Trust, the specialist lender, where he spent the past three years as director of structured finance and was instrumental in expanding its loan origination efforts across products including residential development and structured lending. Before that, Oakley worked at Arbuthnot Latham, the private bank, where he was director of structured lending. In his new role at CapitalRise, Oakley will head up the expanding lending team’s efforts to proactively grow the loan book and ultimately provide more proven developers with access to quick, reliable and secure finance to undertake and complete their projects.
These appointments are the latest in a string of new hires for CapitalRise, as it looks to recruit the best talent to meet its growing deal flow, with an exciting pipeline of prime residential development projects under review as a growing number of borrowers are drawn to its proven model. It continues to recruit for new roles across multiple divisions of the business including lending, investor relations, product and compliance
Uma Rajah, co-founder and CEO at CapitalRise, says, “These high calibre appointments come at a pivotal time for CapitalRise as we see interest surge from both investors attracted to our secure, income-led investment proposition and borrowers who continue to struggle to access suitable finance. With two years under our belt and an established track record of delivering returns averaging 10%, CapitalRise is now a proven concept and we need the best team in place to take it to the next level. I’m confident that both Nick and Lior, who respectively have a wealth of relevant experience, have the right skillset and enthusiasm to help drive the business towards meeting its ambitious growth targets."
