MHP APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF CRISIS COMMS

MHP Communications has appointed Barnaby Fry as head of crisis to lead its growing crisis communications offer.

Barnaby, a Managing Director at MHP, has 20 years’ experience of corporate and financial communications advising the Boards of large international businesses on a broad range of crises and issues management scenarios.

Barnaby will lead MHP’s crisis team, which has over 20 crisis experts across the business, drawn from every discipline of communications including consumer PR, corporate affairs and financial communications.

The appointment will help grow awareness of the company’s crisis management capability, which includes a range of services to organisations including senior crisis counsel, issues vulnerability audits, crisis manuals and protocols, crisis simulations, crisis training, scalable press office response and brand rebuild strategies.

MHP already provides crisis counsel to a broad range of clients and has recently helped them navigate everything from social media activism to allegations of poor working practices.
