FORMER WEBER SHANDWICK HEAD LAUNCHES CONSULTANCY
Lisa Pantelli, Weber Shandwick’s former head of employee engagement and change management for UK & Ireland, has launched an employee engagement and internal communications consultancy focused on providing programmes which are driven by research and insights. Named ‘Become Communications,’ it brings together Pantelli’s experience in internal and external reputation management.
Based in Brighton, Become Communications works with a wide range of clients from sectors including aerospace, not-for-profit, professional services, education and retail. Pantelli also works with Simply Communicate as a consultant to its digital workplace consultancy business.
Pantelli says, “The approach to developing insight-led strategies for external communications and PR has been well-recognised for some time. Yet time and time again, I see organisations looking for quick fixes when it comes to approaching employee engagement. [It] has never been more important and many of us can identify managers that have got both the best and the worst out of us. To truly increase engagement, you really must understand the business and the people within it. Only then can you help to reap the long-term benefits that engagement offers. It is this quality insight that Become Communications provides.”
Pantelli draws on her experience of working with both large and small companies to help businesses realise their potential by offering services such as research and insights, consultancy, training and development and communications support.
Pantelli left Weber Shandwick in 2016 to freelance before launching Become Communications in August 2017. In 2016 Lisa was recognised by the CIPR as a ‘Future Leader’ at the annual CIPR Inside Awards.
