drp has expanded its production team this month with a new addition, Richard Morris, who will be based at their headquarters in Hartlebury. Morris has joined as assistant production manager.

Morris says, “Working with the scenic, creative, technical and health and safety teams I will be ensuring the effective delivery of all our client projects across the UK and overseas. I’m looking forward to working with the varied roster of clients at drp and the many events we produce during the year.”

As assistant production manager,  Morris will be working in the tech services in the production management team. Prior to joining drp, Morris worked at the RSC in Stratford upon Avon, as well as away on tour, working on shows such as the Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Dirty Dancing, to name a few. The companies he has worked for include Disney Theatrical Group, Malcolm Ian Productions, EON Productions and Michael Rose Ltd.

drp is continuously expanding the team, and currently has 187 highly specialist professionals in three different UK offices. The expansion is expected to continue to grow organically during 2017, seeing further growth in all areas of the business. Within the last four years, drp has seen a staff retention of 90%.
