CH1CHESTERBID MAKES SENIOR MARKETING HIRE

CH1ChesterBID – Chester’s Business Improvement District (BID) company – has appointed Judy Tagell as its new marketing and communications manager.

Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualified, Judy Tagell joins with over 10 years’ experience in marketing and PR roles covering sectors including education, technology and SME markets. Tagell is tasked with helping to drive increased footfall and spend in Chester city centre.

Tagell began her career at Newcastle-Under-Lyme College where she worked for two years in an award-winning marketing team before moving on to become a marketing co-ordinator for Staffordshire University. More recently Tagell held the position of marketing manager for WM Reply, a Microsoft technology service provider, based in Chester.

Carl Critchlow, BID manager at CH1ChesterBID says, “I’m delighted to announce the appointment of Judy to the role of marketing and communications manager. She’s an extremely accomplished marketing professional and has joined us at an incredibly exciting time with plenty happening in the city.”

She’ll offer expert advice and guidance to our members and already has plans in motion to support them, through things like drop in workshops and marketing training sessions.”

I went to university in Chester and fell in love with the city during my time studying, so I’m thrilled to be back working in the heart of it.”
