THE CLEARING HIRES NICK LIDDELL
Branding consultancy The Clearing has appointed Nick Liddell as its new director of consulting. Liddell joins The Clearing from agency Dragon Rouge, having previously worked at Interbrand.
Liddell has guided many global brands throughout his career including Amex, BP, Durex, Guinness and Prada. He'll lead a team of consultants and be responsible for guiding The Clearing's strategic offer across business and consumer brands. A regular conference speaker, he is a member of the Superbrands Council, author of the popular book “Business Is Beautiful”, and a contributor to the Huffington Post.
His arrival signals a restructure for The Clearing’s strategic team with Richard Buchanan, previous director of consulting and one of the business's founders, moving into a newly-created managing director role. Stephen Lang has been promoted from senior consultant to director of business development. Founder and managing director Richard Buchanan says, “I’m delighted that Nick has chosen to join The Clearing, and I know he’ll help us continue our expansion and success.”
Liddell says, “The Clearing is one of the most exciting and creative independent branding consultancies in London. They’re unique in having equally strong writing, design and strategic teams, and I’m looking forward to being part of their future.”
