NCSEM1 PLACES TRUST IN CARTWRIGHT

Midlands-based PR agency Cartwright Communications has secured its latest account win with The EBP, a regional provider in the East Midlands for National Citizen Service, the country’s flagship youth programme.

Following a competitive pitch, Cartwright has been appointed on a retained basis to support the scheme’s public relations and social media activity across the ‘East Midlands 1’ region.

NCS EM1 (National Citizens Service East Midlands 1 region) offers once-in-a-lifetime programmes during school holidays for 16 and 17-years-olds in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland and has ambitious recruitment targets for 2016.

The programme offers young people the chance to take part in a residential activity away from home, undergo skills workshops and complete social action within their local community, helping them build confidence, boost their CV and make new friends. NCS is government-backed, meaning young people never pay more than £50 to take part.
