CAROLINE BLAINEY JOINS UNITY AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Caroline Blainey has joined Unity as creative director. In the new role, Blainey will take overall responsibility for the agency’s creative output and processes.

She will also act as head of the Creative & Production Hub within the agency.

Her career spans more than 17 years with experience delivering a broad range of work as a senior art director at the Guardian and art director, then creative director, at a broad range of agencies.

These include HHCL, Wieden + Kennedy, Brothers & Sisters, & Partnership and DLKW.

Client campaigns of note include Argos, Travelodge, M&S, British Gas, Unilever, Pot Noodle, Nike and Sky.

She is best known for the award-winning work she did at the Guardian on the A5 guides where she picked up a D&AD Pencil and for her work on Marmalade and at the BBC for Illustration and art direction.

She brings a wealth of experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns and crafting powerful brand ideas and has versatile range of skills including story making, strategic thinking, art and creative direction and production.
