LANDOR BOLSTERS ITS 3D ENVIRONMENTS TEAM

The world’s leading strategic brand consulting and design firm, Landor, has announced the expansion of its 3D environments branding team in London with two new senior appointments.

Rob Atkinson joins as Landor’s new design director and Dan McNulty becomes senior 3D designer. The appointments are part of a wider strategy to position the London office as leading experts in 3D environment and experiential branding, providing a point of reference for all projects across Landor’s global network of offices.

Rob Atkinson will lead the team, overseeing all of the 3D environment projects that Landor produces across EMEA. He has over 15 years’ experience in design, having worked in various commercial sectors across Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia. Previous companies he has worked at include: P+W Architects, Imagination, Conran Design Group, Identica and Populous.

Dan McNulty has a rich and varied background with knowledge and experience running across a wealth of interior design disciplines: from large-scale workplace interiors through to retail, hospitality, events, experiential and exhibitions. He has created 3D branded environments for clients such as Google, HTC, News Corp and Shell.

Commenting on the new appointments, Peter Knapp, Landor’s global creative officer, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Rob and Dan, who both bring world-beating knowledge and creative skills to the London team. Landor has long had a stellar reputation in creating fantastic branded environments for our clients. By strengthening the 3D environments team, the core offer of the London office has become even more sophisticated. We are confident Rob and Dan will deliver exciting results across EMEA.”

Rob Atkinson added:

“At Landor, there is a beautiful tradition of storytelling that exists within all their work and an impressive level of strategic thinking, so I’m thrilled to be joining the company at this exciting time. It’s going to be a joy collaborating with so many talented people who have come from a completely different skillset to mine, but who are very single minded in their professionalism and their approach.”
