INVOLVE APPOINTS BEN KINGSMILL

Engagement agency INVOLVE is launching a new division dedicated to internal brand engagement. Ben Kingsmill, who has a 15 year history in strategic brand consultancy and consumer advertising, has been appointed to run the new division as head of brand engagement.

Kingsmill says, “Brands, most simply, are the means for businesses to tell their story, however, engagement in those brands is all too often assumed. It’s frustrating to see so many businesses missing out on the opportunities presented by their people to bring brands to life with customers. Through this newly created division we hope to put brand engagement at the heart of business leaders’ growth plans.”

Jeremy Starling, managing director at INVOLVE, says, “We are delighted to have Ben on board and his expertise will be instrumental in building INVOLVE’s strategy for making brand engagement a critical business issue. It needs to get as much attention and dedication from business and marketing leaders as other external brand initiatives do.”

Before INVOLVE, Kingsmill held leadership roles at Goosebumps Brand Consultancy, thinkpublic, JWT, and McCann Erickson. He explains, “I have always believed in the positive impact creativity has on business, by focusing on brand engagement I am continuing this belief.”
