SPEAKER LINEUP GROWS AHEAD OF SEPTEMBER BIMA TECH CONFERENCE

'Lessons from the Future' examines the technological future being created now.

More than any other industry, technology creates the future. So for those who create that tech the question must be: “What sort of future do we want to make?”

Taking place on 18 September, Lessons from the Future is a new one-day conference from BIMA, the UK’s digital and tech trade body. The speaker lineup includes the innovators who are making voice more inclusive, making transport more sustainable, and making news less ‘fake.’ The conference will also examine how tech is fighting malaria, revolutionising professional sports, and hear from thought leaders who are challenging humanity to take back control of ‘runaway tech.’

Keynotes include Microsoft UK’s Cindy Rose, Anita Sengupta co-founder of Airspace Experience Technologies, Max Amordeluso, lead evangelist for Amazon Alexa in Europe, futurist and tech philosopher Nell, and a debate about technology’s role in solving the climate crisis led by Extinction Rebellion, Adjust Your Set and Project Everyone.
