Solon has been active in France for the last years and is now capitalising on its growing reputation in France with the opening of an office in Paris.

The French TMT market has been dynamic over the last few years across all sub-sectors with increased competition at the wholesale and retail levels in telecoms, significant investments and consolidation on the telecoms infrastructure side, and emergence of new players in media. France has also seen exciting development in technology with the French tech seeing strong tailwind with French and international investment.

François-Nicolas Kielwasser, managing director at Solon, will relocate to Paris to open the Solon French office. He will be supported by Frederic Huet, partner and managing director, in the development of the office.

Kielwasser and Huet have wide ranging experience in the TMT landscape, working for corporate and investors, most recently mainly across telecoms, telecoms infrastructure, software and other technology sectors.

Paris will also serve as the base for work in north Africa and French-speaking Africa and the Middle East.
