PRCA PUBLISHES REVISED RECOMMENDED READING LIST

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has today published a revised recommended reading list, based on book suggestions from across the industry.

The full list can be viewed below, and will be sent to all those undertaking a PRCA Qualification.

Francis Ingham, director general of the PRCA, says, “Twelve days ago, we became aware that our diploma reading list was fundamentally flawed. We acknowledged that we had screwed up, and said that we would sort it out.

“Having invited members to submit suggestions, we are delighted today to release a new Diploma reading list – one that is truly contemporary, and reflects our industry much better. And one that will continue to evolve as members make suggestions in the future.

“I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to this new list – in particular Holly Sutton, Sarah Hall, and Stephen Waddington – and to encourage practitioners to keep on letting us know if there are any other publications that should be included.”

The PRCA will be constantly revising the list, and is requesting that practitioners continue sending reading suggestions to iman.spearman@prca.org.uk.
