HUNTER APPOINTS WE ARE SOCIAL TO LEAD ITS SOCIAL MEDIA DISTRIBUTION
Iconic British brand Hunter has appointed socially led creative agency We Are Social to manage its paid social media distribution, implementation and reporting across the UK, the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Japan.
The new relationship, which was awarded following a competitive pitch, will see We Are Social work with Hunter on all paid social activity, from both a brand and e-commerce perspective, across Facebook and Instagram.
We Are Social will work with Hunter to capitalise on the success the brand has seen in new categories in recent years, following Hunter’s expansion into new footwear, apparel, bags and accessories, as well as new markets; particularly the US, as the brand’s largest market.
Cassandra Gowing, senior customer engagement and social media manager at Hunter, says, “We were looking for a proactive and dynamic partner who could help us reach new and existing fans across key markets, recognising and capitalising on Hunter’s recent growth and the brand’s unique position in the market. Hunter represents the first significant media distribution-only client for the agency and comes following recent growth of its paid media team, including the creation of two new roles.
