GINGER X MASSIVEMUSIC LAUNCHES IN GERMANY

The Berlin-based boutique agency Ginger is collaborating with international creative music agency MassiveMusic to offer the German market a more robust music service.

Having launched in Berlin in 2018, Ginger has worked with clients including Rimowa, Audi, Bosch and Under Armour. A chance meeting between Shai Hirschson and Gordian Gleiß at Ginger and Hans Brouwer at MassiveMusic led them to identify synergies between the two companies.

Through this collaboration, Ginger x MassiveMusic can now offer something new to the German market, combining the creative thinking of both a boutique team and a global music agency. The partnership aims to add a unique touch that goes beyond the industry’s current status quo, resulting in innovative partnerships and new ideas on how music can communicate a brand, product and vision. Ginger x MassiveMusic will bring together artists and creators across the industry to offer agencies and brands different ways to express and enhance the musical side of their stories.

Hirschson and Gleiß, both creative managing directors, will head up the Berlin team, together with producer Aldana Pagani.

Hirschson says, “It was one of those meant-to-be encounters. The day after we got off the first phone call with Hans Brouwer, we jumped on a plane and headed to MassiveMusic’s Amsterdam headquarters. It was love at first sight. Ginger as the boutique creative think tank to MassiveMusic’s international garrison: the combination was undeniably irresistible.”

Brouwer adds, “You have all these elements: the same DNA, an instant synergy, an overflow of exuberant creative connection and even the same brand colour. It was a natural decision for both agencies to combine our respective strengths, strategies and focus to create this partnership.”

Ginger x MassiveMusic opened its doors on 25 April as MassiveMusic’s sixth global office, following Amsterdam, London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
