D/SRUPTION LAUNCHES TOP 50 INDEX TO FIND UK'S MOST DISRUPTIVE COMPANIES
D/sruption the business intelligence platform and disruptive innovation magazine, has today announced the launch of its Disruption50 Index – a competition for companies championing emerging technologies and business models, to show how they are turning today’s trends into the next wave of disruption.
D/sruption has teamed up with Hotwire, the global communications agency, on the Disruption50 to help evaluate the tech and innovation which will change the business landscape in 2019. Disruption50 highlights and celebrates those businesses innovating and leading the way in our rapidly changing world. Those involved will have the chance to be ranked as one of the 50 most disruptive businesses.
In a revolutionary new step the Disruption50 will augment the power of humans with swarm technology and AI; showcasing the companies changing the shape of the business landscape.
Entries are encouraged for incumbent businesses, SMEs and start-ups who can enter themselves or can be nominated or invited to enter the evaluation process, by filling out a simple entry form.
D/sruption magazine will identify a short list of 100 companies who have provided evidence of having the most disruptive potential. This short list will then be evaluated and scored by an expert panel of 20 cross-industry experts, to come up with a statistical decision on the 50 most disruptive brands right now. Unanimous AI’s Swarm Intelligence platform will then augment the expert panel's decisions by replicating the mechanisms found in nature to make more informed decisions.
Hotwire’s 20 years of experience working with fast-moving startups on funding rounds, scale-ups on the path to world domination and multinationals needing the foresight to plan for future events, means they are the ideal partner to launch this index with.
All of the 50 disruptive companies chosen will be credited in a final report and invited to the announcement of the Top 50 Index at the Disruption Summit Europe in September, to an audience of 700 innovation leaders.
The final report will provide key insights as to why each company was identified and what their impact might be on markets, competitors, investment and industry structure.
Rob Prevett, founder & CEO of D/sruption says, “We are extremely excited to be launching the Disruption50 – a cross sector quest to find the 50 most disruptive companies of 2019. With a torrent of start-ups and established companies innovating and introducing new business models, there is a drive to identify which of these will really become the next disruptive force to look out for. D/sruption and our cross-industry panel of expert judges look forward to identifying these companies and giving them the credit and recognition they deserve.”
