CUBO SUMMER CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED

Swansea University Bay Campus is the delightful setting for College and University Business Officers’ (CUBO), 2019 Summer Conference which is now open to bookings.

Taking place on 3-5 July, the conference which is titled ‘Innovative Partnerships - A Strategic Imperative,’ has an impressive round up of key-note speakers and best practice case studies as it looks to explore innovative partnerships as a strategic imperative within the current university landscape.


Representing senior business officers across campus services, including conferencing CUBO’s Summer Conference is set to welcome record numbers in 2019.


Keynote speakers include:
 Andrew Rhodes, registrar of Swansea University, Sahar Hasemi, co-founder of Coffee Republic
, Charles Spence, professor of experimental psychology at the University of Oxford, Richard Noble, project director of the Bloodhound Project, Rachael Flanagan, founder of Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services, and 
Samantha Murray, London 2012 Olympic silver medallist and 2014 world champion in the modern pentathlon.

The CUBO Summer Conference will include best practice workshops:

  • Using Partnerships to get Investment through Crowdfunding
  • The Les Mills Partnership with the University of Leeds
  • Swansea University – Partnering for Sport Success
  • Acuho-i: Partnerships in Student Housing

These will be supported by four further case studies from the 2019 'Best Business Partner CUBO Award' shortlist. CUBO will also be welcoming its supply partners as they host an exhibition enabling them to spend time with current and potential business partners

A gala dinner will take place in the great hall of the Bay Campus where the winners of the 2019 CUBO Awards will be revealed.
